Dr Who Fanart



Sometimes Sundays are really boring, so I searched a picture to draw. Because I'm a big Dr. Who fan I decided to draw this picture. I used another picture from the internet as template.
I've drawn the sky with watercolors, the clouds with white acrylics, the TARDIS and the stairs with a black fineliner and the stars with a white one.

Two girls on a poppyfield

This painting shows two girls (technically me and my little sister) in a poppyfield. When I was about 8 years old we moved to another house. Before my parents created a garden, a lot of wild poppies grew behind the house. It was the perfect playground for my siblings and me. A few days ago, I found this picture in my photo collection and thought it would be a great motive to paint. So I took my watercolors and this was the result.

Playing with watercolor pencils

Watercolor-paintings are so beautiful :) There are many different techniques and different material you can use, for this picture I used watercolor pencils from Faber Castell. For the picture of the fish I also used a grey marker. Watercolors are perfect for paintings with transparent objects like the jellyfish.
